Airpro and airBaltic Expand Their Cooperation to Oulu

The long-standing cooperation between Airpro and airBaltic is expanding once again, as the airline begins operations in Oulu and has selected Airpro as its ground handling partner. Airpro already provides services for airBaltic in Tampere, Helsinki and Kittilä – and now also in Oulu.

Operations will begin at the turn of the summer season, with the first departure from Oulu today, 30 March. The route will be operated using airBaltic’s modern Airbus A220‑300 fleet throughout the summer season.

Strong onward connections and a significant boost to Oulu’s accessibility

The new route offers travellers departing from Oulu a wide range of onward connections via Riga to destinations across Europe and the Middle East. At the same time, the connection strengthens Oulu’s position as the European Capital of Culture 2026, bringing more international visitors to the region and improving accessibility to cultural events throughout the year.

Airpro proud to support this growth

Mika Soinisalo, Senior Manager, Customer Engagement & Key Accounts, Airpro, comments:
"At Airpro, we are extremely proud to once again expand our network with airBaltic. Launching operations in Oulu further strengthens our collaboration and demonstrates the quality and reliability of Airpro’s service delivery. We are delighted to grow our operations in Oulu."
