Emirates has awarded Airpro a multi-year ground handling agreement at Helsinki Airport. Starting 1 October 2026, Airpro will provide comprehensive ground handling services, including passenger services, ramp handling and de-icing, for Emirates' daily operations in Helsinki.
Emirates commenced daily operations between Dubai and Helsinki on 1 October 2026. The route is served by the Airbus A350-900, offering passengers a choice of Economy Class, Premium Economy and Business Class cabins. Through Emirates' hub in Dubai, travellers from Finland will gain convenient access to more than one hundred destinations across the airline's extensive global network. The new service will expand the range of premium travel options available to travellers in Finland.
The agreement marks a significant milestone for Airpro and further strengthens the company's position as a trusted ground handling partner for international airlines operating in Finland.
Preparations for the launch of Emirates' daily Dubai-Helsinki service have been underway for several months, with both companies working closely to ensure a successful start of operations.
