Airpro to establish Area Manager organization from May 1st

Airpro will renew its organisation of regional operations in Finland. In addition to Helsinki Airport, Airpro currently operates at 15 Regional Airports around the country. As of May 1st, Airpro will establish a new regional organisation comprising of Northern Finland, Western Finland and Central Finland.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of three Area Managers for the new regional organization:

  • Northern Finland Mr. Markus Kurkinen, currently Airpro Station Supervisor in Kittilä, has been appointed Area Manager of Northern Finland, with responsibility of Airpro station offices in Rovaniemi (RVN), Kuusamo (KAO), Kittilä (KTT), Enontekiö (ENF) and Ivalo (IVL).
  • Central Finland Mr. Antti Reinikainen, currently Airpro Business Development & Key Account Manager, has been appointed Area Manager of Central Finland, with responsibility of Airpro station offices in Jyväskylä (JYV), Kuopio (KUO), Joensuu (JOE), Kajaani (KAJ), Oulu (OUL) and Kemi-Tornio (KEM).
  • Western Finland Mr. Aki Virta, currently Airpro Station Manager at Vaasa Airport, has been appointed Area Manager of Western Finland, with responsibility of Airpro station offices in Turku (TKU), Tampere (TMP), Vaasa (VAA) and Kokkola-Pietarsaari (KOK).

The new Area Manager organization, which will support the development of regional operations – and which works in close co-operation with Airpro’s Key Account team, will be in place in two phases. Northern Finland and Western Finland on 1st May and Central Finland by 1st July. The Area Manager organization reports to Ari Halonen, Head of Operations Regional Airports.
